The selected Oriental Beauty was made by Ching Xing Da Mo, with very clear scent of the tea tree variety. Also the outlook of the dry tea contains the typical five colors leaves: green, white, yellow, red and brown. 
The front taste is the mix of honey and a unique hay smell, which comes from the Ching Xing Da Mo variety. The tea brew is smooth and sweet, with a pear-like flavor. Later on followed by a long lasting honey scent and a fresh mouthfeel.

Oriental Beauty, also named White-Tipped Oolong, Five Color Tea, Pong Feng (bragging) Tea, or Champagne Oolong, is one of the most famous tea in Taiwan. It mainly produced around Taoyuan, Xing Chu and Miao Li in Taiwan. The unique honey scent and ripe fruit sweetness, caused by the sting of a local insect Jacobiasca Formosana, made Oriental Beauty extremely popular. There was a story saying that the name of Oriental Beauty was given by Queen of England for this unforgettable charm from the east. 
There are plenty of tea tree varieties which is suitable for making Oriental Beauty. Such as Ching Xing Da Mo, Bai Mao Ho, and TTES No.17, etc. The quality of Ching Xing Da Mo is considered the best among all.
The best season for making Oriental Beauty is around Jun and July, between the 24 solar term “Grain in Ear” and “Major Heat”. The fresh leaves must be harvested by hands, due to the strict standard of “one tip with two tender leaves”. And the quality of Oriental Beauty is judged by the level of "Jhuo Yan” (Sting by the insect).

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
